Select League

The PCYS Select soccer Fall Season (September–November) is for boys and girls U15 and under, plus high school girls, while the Spring Season (April–June) is for boys and girls U15 and under, and high school boys. Tryouts for all levels occur in early June.

Take Your Soccer Skills to the Highest Level 

PCYS Select League offers the highest level of competition as part of the WYSA State League. Designed for dedicated players, this program combines advanced training, competitive league play, and statewide travel, helping athletes sharpen their skills and take their game to the next level. Athlete tryouts are held in early June, with offer notifications typically sent by June 30. Registration is by invitation only, extended to selected team members.

Program Highlights


Top-Tier Competition: Compete in the WYSA State League, with teams representing PCYS at National and Premiere levels.


Commitment to Excellence: Participation requires a strong commitment to your team, including tryouts, regular training, and game attendance.


Two Seasons:

  • Fall Season (Early September–Mid-November): For boys and girls U15 and under and high school girls.
  • Spring Season (Late April–Mid-June): For boys and girls U15 and under and high school boys.


Expanded Travel Opportunities: Games and tournaments may require travel up to 2.5 hours away.

Costs and Tournaments


Fees:  Select League costs vary by team level and are higher than Classic League due to advanced competition and travel.


Family Fee

  • $100 per family (included in registration, charged once).

Uniforms

  • All players require a new uniform for the 2024-2025 season.
  • Cost: $110–$130 for basic kits, assigned after team formation.

Payment Options

  • Full payment via credit card/eCheck.
  • Installment options are available.


Tournaments:  Participation in tournaments is included in player fees, offering even more chances to compete and grow.


Volunteer Requirements


Families must contribute to program success through volunteering:

  • Home Tournaments: 4 hours per tournament (Fall & Spring).
  • Non-Tournament Tasks: 4 hours logged via Playmetrics system.
  • Non-Compliance Fee: $200 fee if hours aren’t met (player cards withheld until resolved).


Financial Assistance


  • Available: First-come, first-served; excludes uniform costs.
  • Apply: Email registrar@pcys.net with the requested amount, reason, player name, and birth year.
